Popular Festivals calendar in Bahia

Bahia is known for making party all year.

The popular festivities and folkloric events follow one another throughout the year.
Many of these celebrations take place during the summer, starting with the washing of Bonfim to Yemanjá Party, before Carnival. Mostly these festivals are characterized by religious syncretism and mix sacred and profane elements.
